How long does it take for a photo restoration quote?
Typically it will be within 1 business day from the time you upload your images. Most cases the same day.
How long will it take to get my images restored?
The time to complete your photo restoration is 1-6 business days. Restoration time depends on how much damage is on the image.

How long does American Photo Shop Keep my restored photos?
Do to privacy all photos are deleted after 30 days. Unless photos are used with your permission for marketing purposes.
What is your 100% Guarantee policy?
Don’t leave things to chance. Give guidance on what to restore in your image, be specific when possible. Our goal is to make you 100% happy with the results.
We are not required to refund, neither to perform for free or at any special price, orders that a customer failed to upload during the time we accept to restore files. APSI is not required to refund orders that were estimated as "Severe", "Extreme", "Not Recommended" or "Basic", orders asked as "RUSH", orders that are unsatisfactory as a result of its Customer´s failure to include clear and complete instructions, orders that reached a third re-work request, by receiving a file smaller than 1800x1200px, by receiving a low resolution file, and/or by receiving a pixelated/blurred/out of focus photo.
Our guarantee is the we will continue to work on your image until you are 100% satisfied with the photo restoration results.
How do I scan and email images? Since most photos looking to be restored are on paper format, scan your damaged photo following these instructions:
Check your scanner settings first
In the preview window of your scanner, select just the photo (no white showing around the photo).
Choose the color photo setting (even for black and white photos).
Turn all enhancements off.
Set resolution quality to high photo quality, 300 to 600 DPI.
Keep in mind that the higher the resolution, the higher the image quality will be.
Save the image as a jpeg file.
Look at original photograph to be sure you've gotten the best quality image possible for that photo.

What if I don't have a scanner or don't know how to use one?
There are several options for scanning your photos.

Another suggestion is taking your photos to a copy facility such as Kinko's, Copymax or Fedex.
We can also scan the photo you want us to restore for no additional fee. Just mail us the photo and we'll scan, restore and mail you back your original photo.
What kinds of plastic storage supplies are okay to use?
Polyethylene, polypropylene, or polyester (polyethylene terephthalate or PET) plastic zip bags, sleeves, or bins without any additional slip or coating agents are considered stable and inert plastics. Avoid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and other unknown plastics.
